The appearance
Robust, firm type of apple. An improved Golden Delicious with a shinier skin, golden-yellow colour and sometimes with a pink bloom.
The taste
The yellow flesh is crunchy and becomes sweeter to the taste if left a short while, developing a distinctive aroma. Delicious as an eating apple or as an ingredient in desserts.
Picking
From the end of September until the third week in October.
Storage
Extremely good storage apple. Keep cool.
